Shopping with kids can cause anxiety in even the most mellow parents. Something about taking your child to a store for an extended period of time and expecting them to behave seems so far fetched. I’ve compiled a list of some of the best tips from other moms on making your shopping experience more enjoyable.

1.Create a List
2.Make sure you are prepared
3.Find a store with the “fun” carts
4.Wear your kids
5.Let them walk alongside you
6.Bring a Helper
7.Let your kids help
8.Bring Snacks, Lots and Lots of Snacks
9.Make it a game
10.Let them pick an item not on the list
11.Let your kids ask the questions
12.Pack toys and entertainment
13.Do not EVER shop during naptime
14.Park by the shopping cart return
15.If all else fails, sign up for grocery delivery or pickup!
